Dinner in Any Language

Back in 1919, while delegates from the world’s major powers were drafting plans for the League of Nations at the Paris Peace Conference, St. Louis saw the birth of our own global concern – the International Institute. Since then the International Institute has helped immigrants and refugees adjust to American life while promoting the ethnic diversity brought about by this city’s myriad cultures. The International Institute’s Dinner Club helps achieve this goal one meal at a time, and this month’s 4601 Gravois Boulevard; 314-531-2048). To make reservations for the 7 p.m. get-together, e-mail Bree DeGraw at bree.degraw@yahoo.com or call 801-699-0480.
