At one time or another, we’ve all shamed ourselves at the bowling alley, trying in vain to become the next Pete Weber or Jeffrey Lebowski with our poorly planned trick shots. Trust us: Those through-the-leg maneuvers end badly for everyone involved. Luckily, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is giving you a chance to redeem yourself with a Crazy Bowl, wherein the strictures of league play are sloughed off in the name of hilarity, creative freedom and, in this case, a worthy cause. The fundraiser takes place at 8 p.m. tonight at Camelot Bowl (801 West Belt Line Road, Collinsville, Illinois; 618-344-8610). Tickets for the bowl-a-rama are $15 in advance and $18 the day of the event; shoe rentals are an additional $2.50. For more information or to reserve a spot, call 618-567-4572.
