Good news: All that time you spent struggling through science classes wasn’t for naught! Whip out that old-school knowledge -- that is, if you didn’t drink it out of your head -- and set your sights on winning the Amazing Challenge. This science-themed scavenger hunt, which departs at 9 a.m. from the Saint Louis Science Center (5050 Oakland Avenue; www.slsc.org), will take you and a partner all around St. Louis to solve puzzlers and relearn (or learn for the first time) science facts along the way. The cost to participate is $80 for your team of two, and this price includes lunch, water, all transportation and a snack; to sign up, call the science center at 314-289-4424. The challenge ends around 5 p.m., and prizes will be awarded then.
