In recent years, cancer has become the darling of fundraiser galas, and tonight, two events continue that tradition of fighting the disease by raising money to find a cure. Benefiting the Siteman Cancer Center, CUREiosity (www.cureiositystl.org) offers each $50 ticket holder complimentary wine, beer, finger food and a CUREious cocktail. Toss in another $125, and you’ll gain access to a VIP lounge and a premium bar. This benefit bash, which is celebrating its second year, also features graffiti artists and a live fashion shoot. The fundraising fun happens at 555 Washington Avenue and runs from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m.; for tickets call 314-241-1888 or visit www.ticketmaster.com.

And if that’s not enough fundraising for one night, stop by PINK: A Benefit for Breast Cancer Awareness at the Upstairs Lounge (3131 South Grand Boulevard; 314-773-3388 or www.upstairslounge.com), which will be smoke-free for the evening. For $7 before 11 p.m. (and $10 after), catch an all-female DJ lineup spinning everything from deep house to acid techno to raise money for three breast cancer awareness charities.
