Shrimp and White Wine, Baby

Fans of awkward dialogue, performers looking into the wrong camera, crappy graphics and vomiting, rejoice! Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim, a.k.a., Tim and Eric, come to town as the guests of the Saint Louis International Film Festival to discuss the aesthetic, business and educational paradigm they have created with their television program Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!. Tim and Eric: What a Wonderful Ride, is a pungent and revealing look at the interior workings of their glittering business empire. They’ll screen clips from their eponymous show, as well as snippets of Tom Goes to the Mayor, and then discuss how the awesome is distilled and disseminated through the medium of a public access-style show populated by Gravy Robbers, Beaver Boys and the Married News Team. Snatch that gravy up at 8 p.m. at the Center of Creative Arts (524 Trinity Avenue, University City; 314-289-4150 or www.cinemastlouis.org). Admission is $10, and if you desire even more awesome, attend the Tim and Eric live show at Off Broadway on Saturday, November 17. The only promise the duo makes is that the Saturday show contains more keytar. Sports!
