Sick of tying bows? Ready to tie one on? To get into the spirits of the season, head over to Miso on Meramec (16 North Meramec Avenue, Clayton; 314-863-7888) for the Young Variety Happy Hour. During this event you'll have a break from all that doing stuff for other people — while still doing stuff for other people (kids with disabilities, namely). And all you'll actually be doing is drinking! (And eating, if you so desire.) The happy hour specials run from 5:30 to 8 p.m. and include $2 Anheuser-Busch beers, $3 vodka drinks and glasses of wine, and $5 specialty cocktails. Have one of each — 10 percent of what you spend goes to Variety! For more information about the cause or the fundraiser, visit www.varietystl.org.
