Remember the first time you made a romantic dinner for two, and you put candles absolutely everywhere? Candelabra on the table. Tea lights by the couch. Votives in the loo. You looked at your date's delighted smile and thought, "I got mad candle skillz." Sorry, but you have nothing on the 25th annual Christmas Candlelight Walk in Augusta. From 5 to 10 p.m., this picturesque town will be illuminated by more than 1,000 flickering lights. Listen to carolers, nibble on snacks, and take a carriage ride through this winter wonderland — all for the very merry price of "free." Want more? Michael Lacey's Jazz Trio gives a free concert at Mount Pleasant Winery (5634 High Street) from 6:30 to 10 p.m., and award-winning wines are available for purchase. Make a night of it by booking a room at one of Augusta's charming bed-and-breakfasts — now that's romantic. To learn more about the Candlelight Walk, call 314-938-3060 or visit www.augusta-chamber.org.
