One Meelyun Lights!
Of the many charms to be found in Affton, Grant's Farm (10501 Gravois Road; 314-843-1700 or www.grantsfarm.com) is the mightiest and most stately. For the holidays the Busch family's ancestral home is bedazzled with more than one million twinkling Christmas lights, each one beckoning visitors to drop in for caroling, pictures with Santa (and the famous Clydesdales) and a special appearance by some friendly penguins visiting from SeaWorld. Grant's Farm's Magic of the Holidays is open from 5 to 10 p.m. Thursday through Saturday (through December 15), and again Tuesday through Sunday (December 18 to 30, except Christmas Day). Admission is free, but parking is $20 per car and $50 per bus, and no guests are admitted after 9 p.m.
