All the Whirl's a Stage

It seems that the lessons today's kids are learning are things like how to get more out of your iPod and what to do if your friend's cell phone is better than yours. Ridiculous! To get them some old-fashioned morality and instruction, head over to the St. Louis Carousel at Faust Park (15189 Olive Boulevard, Chesterfield) for a couple of puppet shows. "Papa" and Jackie Wright's The Boy Who Cried Wolf teaches little ones about honesty on Thursday, December 27, and Puppet Productions' The Three Billy Goats Gruff educates children about the dangers of trolls (or about using their wits or some such) on Friday, December 28. Both performances begin at 9:30 a.m. and last about a half-hour. Admission to the puppetry costs $5 to $6; for more information call 636-537-0222 or visit www.stlouisco.com/parks.
