Fun for the Rest of Us!

By James Weber

Published on December 19, 2007

Ah, the holidaze is upon us! Everyone, sing: "Oh silver pole, oh silver pole, you shine so bright and sterile! No tinsel to distract my mind — thank God for Frank Costanza! You tower o'er the feats of strength! You wait for Pops to pin us down! Grievances will be aired tonight: Oh how y'all disappoint me!" Semi-official Festivus carol out of the way, here's the real story: You hate the holidays yet love Seinfeld. How to make these puzzle pieces mash together? Hit up the City Museum (701 North 15th Street; 314-231-2489) Saturday and Sunday (December 22 and 23), and get to celebrating Festivus there! The all-day festivities not only feature the requisite pole but also feats of strength and the traditional airing of grievances. For information run to www.citymuseum.org; admission costs $10 to $12.
