<'Tis the season of lights! Everywhere you turn, lights are there. Over on the neighbor's roof? Check. Wrapped around the perimeter of your cubicle? Uh-huh. Inside that file cabinet? Sure. Sure? It's part of <b>Internal Illumination, the new exhibit at the Foundry Art Centre (520 North Main Center, St. Charles). More than twenty artists created two- and three-dimensional works that are lit from within by either chemical or electrical means. Alex Elmestad's Classification of Light (pictured) takes that dictum both literally and with a sense of humor. Internal Illumination opens with a free public reception from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, December 21. The show remains up through Friday, February 1 (every day except Sunday). For more information on this or upcoming exhibitions, call 636-255-0270 or visit www.foundryartcentre.org.
