You're Nut Too Late

By Paul Friswold

Published on December 19, 2007

Ah, the day after. No shopping, no parties, no dawn present-raiding, no relative responsibilities — the holiday is officially all over except for the shouting, and you took care of that last night when the kids were jacked up on candy. But wait! You forgot to see The Nutcracker! The one holiday tradition you can't miss, and you were so busy you missed it. No chance to see it till next year — unless...yes. The Moscow Ballet performs the Great Russian Nutcracker one last time in 2007 at the Touhill Performing Arts Center (1 University Drive at Natural Bridge Road; 314-516-4949 or www.touhill.org) at 8 p.m. Mouse King, Wooden Soldier, Sugarplum Fairy and you. Exactly what you need on the day after. Tickets are $25 to $65.
