Time to trade in the snow boots and ski hat for cowboy boots and a Stetson (you look better already), and then mosey on over to the Family Arena (2002 Arena Parkway, St. Charles; 636-896-4200 or www.familyarena.com) for the Longhorn World Championship Rodeo. Friday through Sunday (January 11 through 13), the arena hosts two-and-a-half hours of flying dirt, snorting broncs, steer-wrestling, calf-roping and barrel-racing — and fully sanctioned, competitive women's bull-riding. That's right: tough ladies. Speaking of tough, on Sunday the cowboys and cowgirls will be riding in pink to support breast cancer research and treatment — and pink ain't for sissies. The rodeo stampedes at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 2 p.m. Sunday and tickets are $12 to $29.
