Oh, the Horror!

Around these parts, you can't open a beer out of earshot of folks at a trivia event — they're happening everywhere! But you're just terrible at those kinds of trivia nights. Seriously, who cares about which sports team member did something better than any other sports teams' members? Especially when said occurrence happened 40 years ago? Sheesh! You're a movie-watcher anyway, and you're particularly fond of the horror genre. So get to the Jade Room (3131 South Grand Boulevard; www.jaderoom.net or 314-664-2020) by 11 p.m. the third Sunday of every month for free Horror Trivia, put on by the STL Horror Drunx and Pabst Blue Ribbon. On its MySpace page (www.myspace.com/stlhorrordrunx), the Drunx's list of fave films includes familiar ones such as Hostel, Ringu, What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? and Friday the 13th, as well as movies like Entrails of a Virgin and Nude for Satan, so we're guessing the questions will be pretty broad. Oh, and that the PBR will be flowing — it is a trivia night, after all.
