You fell asleep before midnight on New Year's Eve — you know you shouldn't drink that much Champagne! And you forgot to ring in the Chinese New Year on Thursday, February 7. Good thing the Richmond Heights Memorial Library (8001 Dale Avenue) has your back. The folks there realize you won't feel right all year without participating in some kind of annual-style party, so they offer up a Chinese New Year Celebration this evening. During this minifestival you and the kids will honor the Year of the Rat by eating complimentary food from P.F. Chang's China Bistro, watching a lion dance and listening to some stories. The fun starts at 7 p.m. and is free to attend; call the library at 314-645-6202 or visit www.rhml.lib.mo.us for more information.
