If we told you livewire lesbian Lisa Ganser will be showing off her shorts at 7 p.m. tonight at the Mad Art Gallery (2727 South 12th Street), would that be something that interested you? All right, the shorts in question are the Twin Cities-based filmmaker's short subjects, but that's still pretty hot. Ganser has the honor of kick-starting QFest, the LGBTQ film festival that runs Wednesday through Sunday (March 12 through 16), which she does by screening her as-yet-unfinished documentary on the Pussy Pirates, as well as her video for Scream Club's "Life of a Heartbreaker." Admission is $5, and there will be a cash bar. For the QFest's full schedule, please visit www.stlqfest.org.
