Whatever you might think about hometown princess Kimora Lee Simmons, you can't deny the fact that she's a woman who goes after what she wants — and gets it. And there's something certainly admirable about that. Clothing lines? Check. Supercute kids? Got 'em. Reality show? Yep. Kimora Barbie? Hell, yeah! The doll even wears neon-pink thigh-high boots! How many of you out there have a Barbie made in your image? That's what we thought. Catch Kimora when she's in town today in honor of Saint Louis Fashion Week, which officially begins Tuesday, March 25. The fabulous fashionista first stops at Steinberg Auditorium on the campus of Washington University (Forsyth and Skinker boulevards) at 11 a.m. to hear the "Kimora Day Proclamation" and film part of an episode of Kimora: Life in the Fab Lane. Then, at 4 p.m. it's over to Macy's at the Saint Louis Galleria (South Brentwood Boulevard and Clayton Road, Richmond Heights; 314-641-2887) for more filming, fun and a toy drive — if you're one of the first people to donate a toy, Kimora has some nice giveaways for you. For more information about these fashionable events, visit www.stlouisfashionweek.com. Admission to both is free.
