Get in Shape, Egg-Shape

By Ms. Day

Published on March 12, 2008

To be able to hide Easter eggs well, you need mad skills, and Ms. Day should know — she once interned at Now Hop to This, the parent corporation for all Easter Bunny-related companies (she worked in the chocolate-egg division; it was a tasty, tasty job). And, of course, to be able to find eggs well, kids need all the practice they can get — there are quarters, jelly beans and chocolaty goodies on the line. So it's no coincidence that Clayton's Bunny Hop is scheduled for this morning, a full eight days before Easter. The CER of Now Hop to This (that's chief executive rabbit), a.k.a. the Easter Bunny, has to ensure that this year's crop of hiders is up to the challenge of stashing all of those eggs next week, so he'll be at the Hop in Oak Knoll Park (2 Oak Knoll Park, Clayton) overseeing his team and smiling for the cameras. And kids ages one to eight have the opportunity to get another run in before the big day, so they better bring their game baskets. The eggstravaganza gets going at 10 a.m., and crafts and a petting zoo are also part of the morning. For more information and to register in advance, call 314-290-8500; admission costs $5 to $6.
