Nearly a decade her ago, Jill Scott's debut album asked Who Is Jill Scott? The answer to that question just keeps evolving. Not only is Scott a Grammy-winning R&B singer who has easily transcended the neo-soul movement she helped establish, she's segued into acting (she plays Big Mama Thornton in Hounddog and appeared in Tyler Perry's Why Did I Get Married?); designed a new line of bras; and even shed it all for a March '08 Allure magazine layout. As the title of her latest disc suggests, Scott's become The Real Thing in more than just music.
