Hanging out with the Smiths

You can, too!

St. Louisans love a few things unequivocally: Chuck Berry, complaining about the humidity, and Ozzie and Nikko Smith. The back flips and stellar fielding of Papa Smith? Awesome. The great voice and handsomeness of Nikko? Fantastic. Fortunately for you true locals out there, you can catch both Smiths at the Creve Coeur Borders (11745 Olive Boulevard; 314-432-3575 or www.borders.com) at 2 p.m. today. See, the junior Smith contributed a piece to the Chicken Soup for the American Idol Soul book, and at the store he and his pop sign the tome — and only that book (no sneaking in baseballs or other memorabilia). Admission is free.
