Seeing Stars

Variety brings the fun

On your typical Friday night, you'll head out, grab a drink and listen to some music — and absolutely no one will benefit from any of these activities. But if on this particular Friday night, you point your car in the direction of the Chase Park Plaza (212 North Kingshighway Boulevard) with $50 in hand, you can help kids and drink free Anheuser-Busch products and hear the Fabulous Motown Revue (pictured). Cool, huh? The good times and good will are courtesy of Young Variety's Night of the Rising Stars, a fundraiser for Variety, a charity that provides aid to disabled children in the metro area. For more information call 314-453-0453, extension 121, and to purchase your ticket in advance (and save $5 on the price), visit www.varietystl.org. The party runs from 8 p.m. to midnight and also includes a silent auction for the even more generous among you.
