Kiss thy 'LypseArmageddapocalypse is hereBy Paul FriswoldPublished on April 30, 2008 at 4:41amWhat inspires a theatrical company to create a new show? In the case of the Immediacy Theatre Project, the muses include but are not limited to: video games, alcohol, Daniel Day-Lewis performance in There Will Be Blood, random found texts, musical theatre and lightsabers. So, you know, have high hopes for Drawn and Quartered: Armageddapocalypse, the ITPs newest show. Thirty-five, super-short plays are performed in dizzying succession at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday (May 2 through 10) at the Tin Ceiling Theatre (3158 Cherokee Street) to create one whole theatrical entity; although the entire thing is scripted, the ITP cast pride themselves on their spur-of-the-moment approach to performance, so each show will be slightly different. Tickets are $8. For more information, visit www.immediacytheatre.org.
