So a black cowboy comic walks into a bar… no, really. His name is Longhorn, and he’s been walking into comedy clubs and bars (“Ouch”) for about fifteen years now. And just in time for Mother’s Day, Longhorn’s Comedy Roundup presents The Good Clean Comedy Show at 7 p.m. this evening at the Hotel Stratford (229 Market Street, Alton, Illinois). The mom-friendly show promises “no cussing, no four-letter words, no sex jokes, just good clean fun.” Yes, really — Longhorn’s own mother is a minister, so you know he knows how to keep it clean. Your $25 admission includes dinner as well as performances by comics Sister Quintella Caldwell, T-Ray Sanders and Davie Dave. Call 618-558-8132 for reservations, and visit www.longhorncomedy.com for more information.
