When you catch a glimpse of an ex’s wedding ring, you know that person is never going to be back for good — just like the HBO series Sex and the City. Its return to the big screen serves as a sad reminder of how vacant the last four years have been without Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda. Sure, you’ve moved on. Yet even the capricious Entourage babes can’t match the intimacy and candidness shown by the four bed- and bar-hopping 30-somethings. Tonight you can celebrate Sex and the City: The Movie (which is released on Friday, May 30) by watching episodes and sipping Skyy vodka drinks named after the four stars. You might get a little too tipsy and/or emotional, but isn’t that the point? The Sex party runs from 4 p.m. until midnight at the Glass Olive (6348 Telegraph Road, Oakville; 314-293-2393 or www.theglassolive.com), so go and gear up — only one more week!
