Gas prices are around four dollars a gallon, and our country struggles to wean itself from its dependency on foreign oil. Who wants to think about fuel right now? Its time we talked about a better sort of Fuel the kind that promotes the city of St. Louis through networking opportunities, social gatherings and volunteer efforts, and offers a different kind of energy for the citys young professionals. Fuel is just this sort of group, and it holds monthly happy hours at various watering holes across the city. This months meet-up takes place at 6 p.m. at Milos Bocce Garden (5201 Wilson Avenue; 314-776-0468). As the name implies, Milos is famous for its outdoor bocce courts, where well-seasoned lawn-bowlers from the surrounding Hill neighborhood and visiting amateurs can share strategies and techniques.
