You like to surround yourself with beautiful things. You hang stunning artwork throughout your home, you wear gorgeous clothes, and you own the prettiest puppy. So it only makes sense that you would love to have drinks at one of the most pleasant sites in all of St. Louis County: the Butterfly House in Faust Park (15193 Olive Boulevard, Chesterfield; www.butterflyhouse.org). The Young Friends of the Missouri Botanical Garden (a sister attraction) gather both inside the butterfly conservatory and outdoors from 6 to 8 p.m. and enjoy Mount Pleasant wine, Cabot Creamery cheese, a buffet dinner, some jazzy guitar music and new friends! The evening costs $20 per person, and you must RSVP in advance by calling 314-577-9432.
