Come to the Table

It's time to talk about dinner

Americans are not only eating more these days (as evidenced by our expanding waistlines), but we're also talking about what we eat more often — and finding out that we have a lot to learn about our food. We're asking ourselves questions like: "What's the deal with genetically enhanced items? And why this sudden focus on organics?" Learn more about topics like these and others tonight at 7 p.m. at the Missouri History Museum (Lindell Boulevard and DeBaliviere Avenue) during the lecture "The American Table: The Science and History of the Way We Eat." A panel of knowledgeable professionals leads the discussion, and admission is free. Call the museum at 314-746-4599 or visit www.mohistory.org to learn more.
