Let's talk about watching tennis on TV — that's a good soundtrack for a nap right there. You need to wake up your spectating and head to the Dwight Davis Memorial Tennis Center in Forest Park. That's where you'll find the St. Louis Aces, our very own World TeamTennis Pro League squad. The team's very short season begins with a "Red, White & Brew" bang on Friday, July 4, when the Aces face the Delaware Smash and you drink complimentary Anheuser-Busch samples. The fun continues on Saturday, July 5, with a match against the New York Buzz (it's "Kids Night," too, and there will be all kinds of goodies for the little ones). Then, on Monday, July 7, your pup can get in on the racket because it's time to "Bring Your Pooch to the Park," an evening which hopefully includes a win for the Aces over the Sacramento Capitals. And for the ladies, Tuesday, July 8, is just for you: During "Ladies Night," manicures will be given, martinis will be served, and good times will be had by all as the Aces play the Newport Beach Breakers. For more information about these matches, the team's other outings, and details about when Andy Roddick, Anna Kournikova and the Bryan brothers are scheduled to play, call 314-647-2237 or visit www.stlouisaces.com. All home matches begin at 7:15 p.m., and tickets, which cost anything from $15 to $150, can be purchased through MetroTix (314-534-1111 or www.metrotix.com). And note: These evenings out will be anything but boring; in addition to all of the themed merriment, music plays, and the cheering is loud!
