The air pollution in China has been a topic of much discussion recently. But what about the air you breathe at a smoky bar? There's decidedly less talk about that — even though it personally affects you right here at home. Good thing we can all get a breath of fresh air at establishments like the Lucas School House (1220 Allen Avenue; 314-621-6565). This smoke-free venue is the perfect setting for the Clean Air Affaire, a fundraiser for the American Lung Association. Held tonight from 7:30 to 11:30 p.m., the Affaire offers local and organic foods, drinks, live music courtesy of Richie Kihlken (pictured), and a silent auction. Plus, the organizers of the benefit are making it as green as possible by using no disposable dishware, providing recycling bins and more. Tickets to attend cost $60 (VIP admission is $125) and can be purchased at www.breathehealthy.org.
