In her new book, What It Is, the beloved indie-comic genius Lynda Barry embraces her audience with a lesson in creative revival. In this collection of memoirist comics, Barry sets aside her syndicated strip Ernie Pook's Comeek and instead delves deep into the root of the creative process and demonstrates how the "ordinary is extraordinary."
