Having a mighty fabulous time in St. Louis! Saw the Arch a couple of days ago — we even went up in it! — and had a yummy Italian dinner in a neighborhood called "the Hill." Yesterday, we went to a crazy place called the City Museum. You gotta see it! Words can't even describe what's going on there! Today (Friday, August 29), we're planning on going to a Post Card Show, organized by the St. Louis Gateway Post Card Club (618-531-4189). It's held in a VFW Hall in Collinsville, Illinois (1234 Vandalia Street, to be exact), but that's not too far away from downtown St. Louis. We're hoping a few of the 25 dealers have vintage cards from some of the places we've been this summer, and who knows? Maybe one of these post cards we've mailed out will wind up in a show like this some day! Friday's the first day of the two-day event, and we're planning to get there at 10 a.m., right when it opens, to get our first picks. Then, tomorrow, we're off to Kansas City! We'll let you know if everything's up to date there! Ha!
