Frontyard Features is a local entity that organizes free outdoor movie screenings all over the city and state in an effort to promote neighborliness. One of the Frontyard venues is outside the Syndicate building downtown (at North Tenth and Olive streets), which is where you can see Hitch tonight. This flick floats on a feathery premise about a "date doctor" named Alex "Hitch" Hitchens (Will Smith) and his latest client, a schmutz portrayed by Kevin James. Smith has some good lines for sure, plus there's the KJ factor: The guy is very funny, truly an ace comic actor. He was consistently great in The King of Queens, and he'll work your funny bone here, too. The movie starts just after sunset (at approximately 7:20 p.m.); food and drink will be available.
