On the weekends we all try to do something fun, and typically, we succeed. But we're usually just having regular fun — not madcap, wacky fun. For that you pretty much need to participate in the Amazing Challenge, a community-wide scavenger hunt that kicks off from the Saint Louis Science Center (5050 Oakland Avenue). During this Amazing Race-style event, you will take Metro, you will do some walking, and you will see some local landmarks, all while completing challenges and competing against other teams. The hunt runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and if there are no spots remaining in the race on Saturday, September 13, there are still two more challenges (on Saturday, October 18, and on Saturday, November 8).
