So much has been written about Fucked Up, especially in the last three years or so, that any description feels a bit stolen. But here's what you need to know for Tuesday's show. Although the Toronto band made its name by putting out a slew of insanely good (and surprisingly original) hardcore seven-inches, the band continues to move away from those early days: The eleven songs on its just-released second LP, The Chemistry of Common Life, are longer and contain varied instrumentation. Still, even though Fucked Up now treads into psychedelic and prog-rock territory, the band's set will contain furious hardcore singles. And watch for singer Pink Eyes' magnetic stage presence: He's often shirtless, sports a bloody forehead and frequently provides us with a view of his ass crack.
