So you're spending some time voting today. That's good. That's great, really. So why not keep the community-activism vibe going? Why not tour the 2008 Living Green Designer Showhouse? This home is an eco-friendly one, located on the Tapawingo National Golf Course (13363 Maple Drive, Sunset Hills), and proceeds from tours benefit the SSM Cardinal Glennon Children's Medical Center. On Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m., you'll have a chance to check out 27 interior-designed and decorated spaces throughout the home — that's a lot of environmental friendliness! Tickets to tour cost $15 and are available for purchase at Dierbergs, Plaza Frontenac and at the door. Visit www.glennon.org for more information and additional hours. The home remains open through Sunday, November 9.
First Tuesday-Sunday of every month. Starts: Oct. 7. Continues through Nov. 9, 2008
