Jetting around the country to find the perfect handmade gifts for friends and family (and yourself) would be the ideal way to shop for the holidays, but shopping for the holidays has you a little strapped for cash — you just can't afford all those airline tickets! So why not let the artists (or, at least, their wares) come to you? To enjoy a day of delicious eats and wonderful works by more than 75 artists and artisans, stop by Cravings (8149 Big Bend Boulevard, Webster Groves; www.cravingsonline.com or 314-961-3534) from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. for the Greenleaf Gallery Holiday Art Show. Visit www.greenleafgallery.com for an idea of the kinds of items that will be up for sale (the Sticks snowman, pictured, will be there) — and thank your lucky stars you only have to drive to Webster to make your purchases (and that Cravings is providing the treats — yum!).
