Mmm...Cheesecake

It has recently come to our attention that the Internet is one vast carnival of what, in a gentler time, we called "dirty pictures." Like, really dirty pictures. But that's not for us — no, sir. We're not against the ladies showing a little leg or working their curves, but gynecological spelunking is a different matter entirely. Let's leave a little something to the imagination, please. Joe Edwards obviously feels the same way, as his Pin-Up Bowl (6191 Delmar Boulevard; 314-727-5555 or www.pinupbowl.com) is something of a hip shrine to ladies with hips, festooned as it is with classic Vargas-style pinup art. And every year Edwards produces a high-quality calendar in the same classy style, loaded with sexy dames photographed by his daughter, Hope Edwards. The 2009 Pin-Up Bowl calendar makes its debut at 9 p.m. this evening at the Pin-Up Bowl, and this year's models — all local St. Louis ladies — will be there to meet and greet their discerning public. Admission is free.
