Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough

So much art, so much partying

For those who always wanted to break into government buildings after-hours to party but didn't because your friends told you it would be lame (and mostly illegal), now is your chance. ArtDimensions, a local nonprofit organization working to strengthen the arts community in St. Louis, hosts its annual party at the St. Louis City Hall Rotunda (1200 Market Street) — and nothing about Off the Wall at City Hall is lame. This mélange of the varied arts features a display and sale of works by twenty visual artists, live music, a fashion show, the Street Kingz DJs and the Street Dimensions break dancers. A public address from the president of the board of alderman, Lewis Reed, and a silent auction benefiting ArtDimensions are also included in the smorgasbord. Speaking of food, Everest Café & Bar, Joanie's Pizzeria, Onesto Pizza & Trattoria and others cater the affair with free nosh to sample. Admission is also free, but donations of $10 are most welcome and tax deductible. The party runs from 7 to 11 p.m. For more information contact ArtDimensions at 314-497-5356 or visit www.artdimensions.org.
