Friday Night's All Right for Dancing
Do what feels good
If you're lucky, your friends are still hosting awesome dance parties at their apartments, where the jams are loud, the dancing is free-form and fantastic, and the comforts of home (read: alcoholic beverages) are all around. Not everyone is so fortunate. Those of us who can barely remember such good times have to look outside the home to get our groove on, and Miso on Meramec (16 North Meramec Avenue, Clayton; 314-863-7888 or www.misolounge.com) provides a perfect setting. The basement lounge is comfy enough, and during Feel Good Fridays, DJ Mike Gow (pictured) spins danceable house tunes, as does DJ Johnny Orr, and the $5 Effen vodka drinks ensure everyone truly feels good, if you know what we mean. The party starts at 9 p.m., and just like at your buddy's house, there's no cover to dance the night away.
