By Ms. Day

Published on December 23, 2008 at 4:41am

As readers well know, Ms. Day is not one to mince words, so she's just going to come right out and say it: What's with all this Twilight business? Seriously! How dare you compare the series to Harry Potter! Not that the vampire books are bad or anything, but there are no wands or cauldrons or flying broomsticks in those stories — at all! Harry Potter fans need to unite in magical solidarity and show their love of the bespectacled one. So join Day in heading over to the Saint Louis Science Center's OMNIMAX Theater (5050 Oakland Avenue) for a screening (or three) of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. This treasure follows Harry through his fifth year at Hogwarts — and his run-ins with the terrible Professor Umbridge — and it's showing on the big, big screen at 7 p.m. Friday and at 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday through Sunday, January 4. Tickets cost $8 to $10 and are available at 314-289-4424 or through www.slsc.org.
Fridays-Sundays. Starts: Dec. 19. Continues through Jan. 4, 2008
