You think you know how forensics work because you’ve seen the various Jerry Bruckheimer productions about brilliant scientists and their amazing technology -- but is that what the job is really like? Do pathologists actually hang out in cooly-lit rooms full of whiz-bang machines sipping macchiatos and slinging one-liners while solving murders with two hairs and a fleck of spittle?
