When you're shopping happily away at the Green with Indie Craft Show, be sure to reserve some funds to spend at the St. Louis Museum Stores Garage Sale. Of course, "garage sale" here doesn't mean the local institutions have gone through their closets to rid themselves of that used Crock-Pot or those outdated clothes and set up shop in some suburban garage. Instead, the term indicates that the prices on goods from their gift shops are rock-bottom — this stuff is brand-new and priced to move! To browse neat-o items from the Saint Louis Zoo, Cahokia Mounds State Historic Site, the City Museum, the Butterfly House, the Eugene Field House & St. Louis Toy Museum and other attractions, pay a visit to the Living World in the zoo complex from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 21, only. Admission to the sale is free, and you can learn more by calling 314-781-0900 or visiting www.stlzoo.org.
