The annual fundraiser for Food Outreach(a charity providing nutritious meals to low-income individuals living with HIV/AIDS or cancer) features an auction and sampling of dishes from more than 20 restaurants and caterers here in town. Onesto's? Boom, definitely. Serendipity? Oh, yeah. Mike Shannon's? That's a winner, baby. Buy a ticket to the Main Event (from 2 to 5 p.m. in the Khorassan Ballroom) for $55 in advance or $65 at the door, or splurge for the Preview Party option ($120, includes admission to the Main Event), which lets you in at 1 p.m. for an extra hour of sampling/gorging. Wear your big pants and prepare to eat in order to help those who need it.
