Hope Floats
Paul Cook is a father, a husband and, most visibly, the morning traffic reporter on KMOV-TV (Channel 4). He is also a recovering drug addict. In his autobiography, Cooked in LA: I Shot for the Stars and Hit Bottom, he writes in depth about his struggle to survive his dependency on alcohol and drugs. However, the book isn't all gloom and doom; some of the anecdotes are funny, and Cook is a recovery success story, offering hope to all who fight addictions.
