Monarch is smart: It's offering a meal to kickoff World Cocktail Week. That's definitely a good thing because we don't think we're alone in wanting to observe this seven-day salute to the drink to the fullest possible extent. Hey, it's a worldwide holiday! Who are we not to partake? Join us at 6:30 p.m. in Monarch's fine dining room (7401 Manchester Road, Maplewood; www.monarchrestaurant.com) for a five-course dinner that features fare inspired by New Orleans. The cocktails paired with each course share that same inspiration — and we can't wait! The evening costs $65 per person (plus tax and tip), and reservations are required, so call 314-644-3995 to save your spot.
