We're fortunate to have as many arts organizations as we do in St. Louis. Each of them works hard to enrich our lives, and we show our appreciation by attending their events. Sometimes it's difficult to know what all is out there, though — there are lots of artsy people in this town! Today, you'll have a chance to check out many of them and browse their offerings at their new homes in Crestwood Court (109 Crestwood Plaza; www.crestwoodcourt.com). More than 100 artists of all stripes invite you to the mall-cum-artist enclave for ArtSpace Takes Off. During this event, which is held from noon to 9 p.m., adults and kids can get in on the artistic action and catch live music, dance concerts, theatrical performances, comedy acts, participatory arts activities and more. And all of these creative endeavors are free (unlike the wares of the mall's former tenants).
