Bee Is for "Back to School"

Hear that? The whole town is abuzz about the honey of a time to be had at the Back to School with Joe Buck Celebrity Bee. Tonight, local luminaries such as NFL Hall of Famer Roger Wehrli, musician Ralph Butler, Rams quarterback Marc Bulger and St. Louis Blues left winger Keith Tkachuk join emcee Joe Buck in a battle of the wits to benefit local children in need. Bee at the Pageant (6161 Delmar Boulevard) at 6 p.m. sharp for the “V-I-Bee” reception where you can swarm the appetizer tray and buzz about the celebs. The Bee begins in earnest at 6:30 p.m., along with raffles, live auctions, dinner and drinks. Players will be quizzed on subjects such as science, math and geography, and attendees are invited to play along. Proceeds from your $75 ticket go to KidSmart, an organization that provides necessary school supplies to disadvantaged kids.
