The beneficiary of a late-career renaissance almost unprecedented in pop-music history, he has fans who are the grandchildren (and perhaps even great-grandchildren) of those who bought his first records. Though his voice may be slightly less incandescent than it was in his youth, Bennett remains remarkably spry for an 82-year-old, and his good taste in tunes and musicians, sense of swing and genial personality still make for an evening that's both entertaining and musically substantive.
