And there's nothing like shopping to get Ms. Day in the mood for...more shopping — especially shopping that benefits a good cause. From noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday (May 16 and 17), the Bizarre Bazaar goes down at the Soulard Art Market & Contemporary Art Gallery (2028 South 12th Street), thanks to JKPublishing and Landlocked Media. This market has local artists selling their wares and other goodies, all for the benefit of the St. Louis Slam poetry team and its trip to this year's national competition. Plus, there will be fire-dancers and other performers at the bazaar to really inflame our buying genes (or jeans?). Want to know more? Call 314-703-3605 or visit www.bizarrebazaar.saintlouisprojects.org for details.
