GIVING BAD HEAD
Show some decency: It's unfortunate that RFT has chosen to make a headline joke about a man being beaten to death ["Don't You Hate It When You Go to the Park to Smoke a Joint with Two Lesbians and They Beat You to Death?" Chad Garrison]. The story is rather odd, I admit, but that doesn't make it appropriate to encourage laughing at someone being brutally murdered. There is a significant difference between committing a stupid crime and being the victim of one. It would be nice to see RFT show a bit more decency in the future. If this happened to someone the author knew, he might not find it so funny.

On the other hand, it may be the...: Best. Headline. Ever.
Josh, via the Internet

No kidding: OK, at first it seems funny, but then not so much. Murder is never funny, no matter who does it or who dies.
Sarah Cato, via the Internet

A dart for Chad: When you think about it, there are probably many situations surrounding murders and other crimes that could be joked about, but luckily, people usually refrain from doing this because it's socially insensitive to do so — except for Chad here. It's always funny when it happens to someone else, I guess, huh? I'm sure Chad would have chosen a different approach to posting about this horrible murder if it had happened to a close friend of his or if the assailants were young black heterosexuals.

The heat goes on: What a disgusting, unprofessional headline and article. How do these types of people call themselves journalists?
dobrofsky, via the Internet

Some joke: Judging from the headline, I thought this was a joke. Chad, you're sick, pal, real sick. This kid went to my high school, and now he's dead.
Anonymous, via the Internet

Mellow out already: The amount of political correctness seen here is unbelievable. The world is spinning into a major shitstorm, and you PC fanatics can't amuse or divert yourselves for one second to enjoy irony? Indeed, a tragic turn of events, and not a headline I'd share with the decedent's family. But for Earth's sake, lighten up or you will all die of anal-retentive complications.

JOE CAN'T BUCK THE TIDE
Duller than a butter knife: Not a great showing by Lange, but I have to agree — that show was a complete borefest ["Artie Lange Destroys Joe Buck Live...," Chad Garrison]. It was totally unwatchable until Lange came on.
Jeff, via the Internet

Artie goes overboard: I agree with Jeff on the borefest comment. It took a turn for the worse when Artie came on. I am a Howard Stern fan, but Artie went way overboard. He doesn't throw out that many F-bombs or "homo" jokes on Howard's four-hour show, so it was clear to see he wanted some PR — and he's getting it. As for Joe Buck, he needs to go back to the drawing board.

Let the buck stop — now: I like Joe, but his show was terrible. The best part was Lange busting Joe's balls. Artie was gross and over-the-top, but I understand that is his shtick. Joe is a great announcer and should stick to sports.

GOING MENTAL
Never smart to shack up with hobos: Considering the mother herself called him this nickname, then I don't think you can blame any of the posters ["Is Stltoday.com Baiting Its Racist Commenters with Photo of Kidnapping Victim 'Lil' Pimp'?" Chad Garrison]. Sorry, but that's the breaks. Also, I don't think many of the posters were focused on the woman's color, but the lack of any mental ability to let a hobo be in the house with her child. So don't go blaming people and calling them racists. Where is the Department of Family Services to check this out
fishintheseam, via the Internet

If she only had a brain: Since when did it become wrong to ridicule the stupid? Say what you want about race, this young mother is obviously uneducated, ignorant and guilty of criminal neglect. Why should people hold back? If someone lives up to a stereotype, is there a good reason people should not point that out? Why does Makeela King get a pass? Because she is black?
